Posts have three statuses:
- Draft — Saved but not visible to the public. Only visible in the admin panel.
- Pending Review — The author has submitted the post for editorial review. Not visible to the public. Editors and administrators receive an email notification (if moderation recipients are configured).
- Published — Live and visible to visitors on the public site (subject to publish date and site assignment).
Role-based publishing:
- Editors, Site Administrators, and Global Administrators can set any status, including Published.
- Authors can create and edit their own posts, but cannot publish directly. If an Author sets a post to Published, it is automatically changed to Pending Review and a notification is sent to the moderation team.
