To compare two versions side by side:
- In the version history list, check the boxes next to the two versions you want to compare.
- Click Compare selected.
The diff view shows:
- Version cards — metadata for both versions displayed side by side.
- Similarity score — a percentage indicating how similar the two versions are.
- Content diff — a line-by-line comparison with color-coded highlighting. Removed content appears in red, added content appears in green, and unchanged content is shown in grey.
The diff compares the text content of each block (with HTML tags stripped for readability). The comparison always runs from the older version to the newer version, regardless of the order you selected them.
